TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Van Loon Constructions specialises in all aspects of the Supply, Installation & Rendering of various external cladding products. Some of the products we use are as follows:
Polystyrene:
Polystyrene Cladding is a lightweight, thermally and energy efficient building solution that is installed quickly and inexpensively. It is fixed directly to the outer face of the frame or can be installed on a battern cavity system. It comes in a size of 50mm, 75mm or 100mm thickness. It can be pre coated or raw, both of which will be finished with render. The final product is a sleek and modern finish to any home, apartment or factory.
Blueboard:
Blue board is a 7.5mm thick cement sheet product with a blue water resistant coating and is generally used as a base to render over.
ComTex:
ComTex is a façade system which is designed for commercial applications. It has the advantage of being lightweight in comparison to other masonry products. ComTex panel are installed on a vertical top hat section which is then rendered.
Quickntuff:
Quickntuff is a masonry veneer wall cladding system with a cavity. It has a high thermal insulation and sound abatement as well as high fire resistance. It is a 50mm panel which is installed on a battern system and is then rendered.
Hebel:
Hebel is a lightweight concrete that is formed into blocks and panels for a wide range of load bearing and non-loadbearing construction applications. Hebel delivers the benefits of traditional masonry such as strength, acoustics, fire and pest resistance but is installed faster. The core component of Hebel is a 75mm thick, steel mesh reinforced panel which is supplied in various lengths and profiles to suit wall, floor and fence requirements.
